JIANGNAN COURTYARD. An elegant, calm and quiet scenario based on the power of water and the greenery of the hills was the goal to achieve in this project. The shape of the roof ridges mimics the silhouette of the mountain, while the houses hug the still water that reflects the hues of the mountains. Tree branches and leaves swaying in the wind, trails that twist and turn to the open water below, sunken courtyards and a themed clubhouse add peace and quiet to the hermit’s life in nature.
